State v. FBI Quid Pro Quo? 10/19/16 J.R. Walsh
First, permit my introduction as a Democratic Supporter.
Please, without immediate prejudice, indulge me a little further. This latest bit
of news into Undersecretary of State Patrick Kennedy and various examination
and investigation of the FBI, Were
engaged in 2015, in some political wheeling &dealing. Although the back
& forth in the halls of D.C.Power amongst familiar colleagues yielded no
Civil /Criminal Charges of Collusion, or Conspiracy
to suppress evidence of wrong-doing.
Official FBI Investigatory
documents reveal that because State Undersecretary Patrick Kennedy was in need
of some Document Classification re-certification, in order to protect Secretary
Hillary Clinton it, might be a good time for FBI to request the State Dept. to increase ‘personnel slots’ available to the
FBI in Iraq.*
Tamara Keith is an NPR White
House Correspondent and has done some dogged investigation into the story. Her
reporting has found that there was no actual Quid Pro Quo in that that neither
was the e-mail in question re-classified,
nor was there any further increased assignment of FBI Agents in Iraq*. That
said, there are still some relevant pieces of information exposed here –
- · Even in matters concerning our National Security and the Security of those serving in Harm’s Way on our behalf, Washington, D.C. ‘bartering’ and ‘wheeling and dealing’ is the ‘normal’ way of doing business. That alone is disturbing and disappointing ,.
- While Undersecretary of State Patrick Kennedy and his subordinates are mentioned prominently on Dept. of State documents, FBI Officials who initially proposed the idea of gaining Personnel Assignments, are not identified and whose names are redacted on official documents.
- This 'More of the Same', This 'Business as Usual’, no matter what the effect for the U.S.
People, has led to the energy and attraction of Candidates the likes of Donald
Trump.
The dismissal of such
pertinent and important reporting of these dysfunctional U.S. Government habits
by much of the popular media as marginal, of little consequence, leads to the
perception of most News Media as biased and irrelevant. Thus we find ourselves this coming Election Day.
